Problem Statement
Managing day-to-day finances is one of the most persistent pain points for small business owners and independent merchants. The current landscape forces users to juggle multiple disconnected tools — one app for payments, another for tracking invoices, and yet another for reporting.
Operational overhead — switching between platforms costs time and creates errors across reconciliation and reporting workflows.
Security uncertainty — relying on multiple third-party tools exposes sensitive financial data to more risk vectors and unclear accountability.
Poor accessibility — complex interfaces designed for enterprise users alienate non-technical merchants who simply need a reliable, fast payment tool.
02
Solution
AjilPay was designed as a single, unified hub — removing the need for multiple apps by consolidating payments, insights, wallets, and card management under one elegant interface.
Biometric-first security Fingerprint authentication and end-to-end encryption protect every transaction without adding friction to the user experience.
Simplified design language An intuitive dark-mode interface built around Quick Access, guided onboarding, and a minimal learning curve — accessible to anyone.
All-in-one payments Cards, digital wallets, and QR code scanning are natively supported, covering every payment context a merchant or user might encounter.

Competitive Analysis
Before defining AjilPay's feature set, the team conducted a landscape audit of existing fintech and payment platforms operating in the MENA market. The goal was to identify meaningful gaps not just match parity features.
Traditional Banking Apps: Heavily siloed, require branch visits for many tasks, and offer poor mobile UX with no merchant-specific tooling.
Global Payment Apps: Feature rich but built for Western markets currency support, compliance, and language localization create gaps for MENA users.
SMB Finance Tools: Accounting and invoicing platforms are too enterprise-heavy for micro-merchants and lack integrated instant payment rails.
QR Only Payment Apps: Narrow scope one payment method, no transaction history, no analytics, no card support. Useful but not comprehensive.
